A bit of History of the 48hrs of Tristate…

Each Winter, a group of Subaru Enthusiasts from the Tristate Area gather to do a winter drive to raise money for charity.  Lifelong friendships are built and Subaru Camaraderie is strengthened.  So get your Subaru Gassed Up, and get ready to put some miles on it through backroads, small towns, highways and byways with us.  In addition to the fun aspect of the trip, each year we strive to raise $1,000 for each year we’ve run the trip.  This year’s goal is $9,000 for The American Cancer Society since it is the 9th year we are running the trip.  Anyone who donates to The American Cancer Society for the 48hrs will get complimentry tickets for the door prizes that our Vendor Sponsors have offered up as well.

This trip has evolved from the first few years where we did it in 48hrs from Friday Night to Sunday Night and covered over 1500 miles to a more tame 1,000 miles over the course of 3 days.  The name 48hrs stuck and we do about 48hrs worth of driving so hence the name stayed!

Without the help of all the volunteers the trip would not be what it is today.  Special thanks to, but not limited to Ted, Ian, Rob, Alex, Patti, Tom, and Subaru of America for their hospitality.

If you need to contact me, feel free to reach out ask questions and I’ll be glad to answer them for you.
